A brief overview of our history:

1944, Irwin Shindler sold the family farm they owned Davisburg, MI.

1945, the family opened a small butcher shop in NY city.

1956, his son, Philip Shindler, opened a meat processing plant called “House of Shindler” on Washington Ave, Brooklyn NY.
-
1958, his son Sanford Shindler joined and created a new retail item, a veal pattie, which was the first veal patties in the retail market and was sold in most supermarkets across USA.
-
1989, Sanford’s son and current CEO, Barry Shindler joined the business, and started a new division: “Shindler Fish”, which grew quickly and moved into its own new facility.
